Frequently Asked Questions:

How long does it take to complete the process?

For best results, we recommend taking your team through one step each week. This gives team members a chance to follow up on their Change-Actions inbetween meetings. Some teams, however, choose to accelerate the process, and go through two or more steps each week. Since the process is designed to be flexible, and to be used during the course of normal work, it can be done in as little or as much time is suitable for your team.

How much time does each step take?

Most steps can be done in about an hour, however, the discussions in each step may trigger good, productive conversations that take longer. Many teams find that if the sessions are taking more time because of this, that they can easily break up a step into multiple sessions.

What do I need to do to prepare to use the process most successfully?

The process is designed to work well with little or no preparation, as your team goes through each step, it leads them page-by-page through the important ideas. As a team leader, you are also provided a Team Leader's Guide with important information about using the process, and quick one-page overviews of what is covered in each step. Generally, a quick look at the Team Leader's Guide before each session is all that is needed.

When should we start the Process?

One of the biggest problems organziations face with change is not starting soon enough. The quicker you begin the Process, the sooner people in your organization can begin taking advantage of the change, and getting results for your organization.
