Tahitian Noni International

Ask anyone at Tahitian Noni International (TNI) if change within the company is a common trend, and they’ll quickly agree. Within Noni’s first year of business, the company began expanding into the international market and first year earnings exceeded $30 million. Now, $3 billion and 10 years later, the recent announcement that the company is going public has skyrocketed the pace of change at Tahitian Noni yet again.

Now ask Jenae Bronson, TNI Corporate Trainer, if change is a common trend. Once she catches her breath, she’ll likewise agree. Jenae is tasked with overseeing training and development for Noni’s more than 1,500 employees – no small job in a company that hires nearly 30 people every month.

How Did Who Moved My Cheese?  Training Help?

The Who Moved My Cheese? Training program was selected to introduce TNI employees to four valuable change skills, helping them succeed with the company’s rapid rate of change. Personnel from all levels attended half-day workshops where they learned how to adapt to change quicker and with less stress. “The biggest impact of the training,” Jenae commented, “is how excited people are to try new things, move beyond fear, and imagine the real success that could come to them.”

What Were The Results?

“In a company that’s changing faster than ever, we needed training that was relevant, easy to do, and meaningful,” she continued. “We got all that, plus a few extras... Who Moved My Cheese? Training was surprisingly entertaining and fun.”

If companies have employees without change skills, they quickly lose the competitive edge in today’s business world. That’s not a threat for this company, however. They’re moving ahead at lightening speed. Having the skills to adapt to change, move beyond fear, and imagine real success is helping Tahitian Noni International prepare for the future. Needless to say, Jenae Bronson has her work cut out for her.
